Participant Cases

Submit a Case

Six rapid-fire cases are selected from submissions and presented during the concurrent sessions.

How it works

Your case, in the room, with the faculty

Participant cases are not posters. Selected cases are presented as rapid-fire discussions inside the concurrent sessions, with senior faculty responding in real time — the same format as the instructive case discussions that run through the scientific programme.

Case structure

Build your submission the way the programme's own case discussions are built:

  • 1–2 introductory evidence slides — what the literature says
  • One case — history, imaging, and what you actually did
  • Decision points — where the case could have gone another way
  • Take-home messages — what you would tell a colleague facing the same problem

What we are looking for

  • Cases that turn on a decision, not on a rare diagnosis
  • Complications and revisions — ISCO treats complications as teachers
  • Cases where the standard answer did not work
