By air
Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side. Both are connected to the city by metro, shuttle and taxi.

Istanbul is served by two international airports with direct connections from almost every major hub, which makes it an unusually convenient place to bring an international faculty and audience together for a two-and-a-half-day meeting.
November is off-peak: mild weather, shorter queues at the historic sites, and lower hotel rates than the summer season.
