About the Symposium

Fundamentals, current practice — and the questions we still argue about

The programme combines short provocative lectures, focused instructive case discussions, participant cases, meet-the-expert sessions, hands-on workshops, and fireside debates between senior experts.

ISCO is deliberately built against the long-lecture format. Nothing runs longer than seven minutes without discussion; every clinical block is followed by real cases with explicit decision points; and each controversy block puts two senior experts on opposite sides of a question the field has not settled.
